Within the framework of the annual program "Innovate Now…Live tomorrow!" launched by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's Information for Africa (BAIFA), the Francophone Network at the BA Library Sector and the annual ITU-UNESCO Regional Digital inclusion Week for Arab States, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and UNESCO, will organize a virtual conference "No one left behind: Leveraging innovation for access to quality education and information"..
With a view to supporting trans-regional sharing of experiences; from the vantage point of almost two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will seek to gain insights from across Africa, the Arab States and Asia-Pacific on emerging experiences in the areas of education and access to information. The conference will also shed light on several UNESCO projects that meet beneficiaries where they are and help them to fulfill their learning and personal development aspirations with a view to ensuring that no one is left behind.
The conference will take place on Tuesday 30th of November and Wednesday 1st of December 2021, from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. (Cairo time, GMT+2). Simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Arabic will be provided.
