The time of our environment, on our climate clock, is 9:38 p.m. Currently, the world is experiencing common problems such as climate change, the outbreak of infectious diseases, regional extinction, changes in the Anthropocene, and economic instability due to various activities created us, the human beings. What should we do for our future? We hope to find the answer here, at the 2022 Asia Culture Forum. The theme of our forum in 2022 is RE: Sustainable Development & Culture_A Culture for a Harmonious Life.

At the 2015 UN General Assembly, the world resolved to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 17). Along with the slogan Leave No One Behind(LNOB), the venue presented 17 goals for mankind, but did not directly mention the cultural area. Therefore, we would like to discuss ways to solve urban problems through culture, think about cultural diversity and cultural rights, and talk about art for our sustainable society. Furthermore, we would like to propose the cultural area as a new goal of SDGs.

Until now, the Asia Culture Forum has been examining contemporary Asian cultural issues and creating related discourses. Marking its 16th anniversary this year in 2022, we'd like to talk about our future, not only diagnosing current problems. We invite you to a venue of reflection for cultural solutions to the problems we face and for the sustainability of our daily lives.
