Speaker:

 

  • Jae Eun Shin - Director of Policy · Education Center of KCOC (Korea NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation) She has served as Director of Policy and Education Center since 2010. She also worked for the Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) where her responsibilities spanned from managing children's development programs, community development programs, fundraising, and sponsorship.

 

  • Eszter Hartay - Senior Legal Manager of European Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ECNL)with over 10 years of experience in creating an enabling legal environment for civil society. She has worked in at least 16 countries across the EU, Western Balkans, Eastern Neighborhood and North African regions, Central Asia and Latin America, leading and supporting efforts in the areas of CSO framework legislation, CSO-government cooperation, participation, financial sustainability and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing. She is managing ECNL’s flagship project on Fundraising Principles to help philanthropy and community fundraising to flourish. Lately, she enjoys mapping out the opportunities and risk of using digital technologies and AI for fundraising practices.

 

Moderator:

 

  • Hwa Jung Kim - Invited Professor at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) Ewha Womans University and Secretary General of the Ewha Public Diplomacy Center, Director of General Affairs at the Korean Association for Public Diplomacy. ​​​Also, she has contributed to the International Cultural Relations Research Alliance, initiated by the IFA and British Council, as a founding member (2019-current). Her research interests are Public/Cultural Diplomacy, Soft Power, International Cultural Relations, Governance Networks, and Cultural Aids/ODA.
