Educators are key to quality adult learning and education. Yet, a shortage of professional adult educators in many countries around the world still hinders progress towards the provision of lifelong learning opportunities and hence the work towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4.
That is why, on 26 May 2021, the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE), DVV International, the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) and the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) will launch a reference framework for the training of adult educators: Curriculum globALE.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn more about the content, structure and implementation modalities of Curriculum globALE. Learners, educators and representatives of education ministries will share their experiences of working with the pilot version of Curriculum globALE to the benefit of adult learning and education worldwide.
We cordially invite you to attend at the event on 26 May 2021, 13:00 to 14:30h (CET), in order to learn more about how to implement this unique reference framework for the training of adult educators.
