The Lausanne Bureau for Immigrants offers, in collaboration with UNESCO, a Master Class against racism and discrimination in Lausanne.
Conceptualized by UNESCO and implemented in different cities around the world, the Master Class against racism and discrimination aims to inform young people about these issues.
The sensitive themes of racism, discrimination and the mechanisms behind the construction of prejudice. But not only that! In addition to this basic knowledge, the aim of the approach is to enable participants to acquire practical tools to deal with these issues on a daily basis and then to be able to share them with their own circles, friends and family.
In these times of globalized resurgence of discriminatory phenomena, particularly on social networks, this Master Class is a unique opportunity to raise awareness of these issues among Lausanne students aged 14 to 18.
With the knowledge and support of local personalities and human rights experts, these pupils will be able to reflect, exchange and share and thus perhaps become the new ambassadors of the fight against racism and discrimination.
