To mark 25 years since the adoption of the Beijing Platform for Action and 20 years of the UNGEI partnership, we are hosting a global virtual forum.

Building on the momentum around Beijing +25, the Forum sessions are organised around the six action areas identified by the international community as key to driving progress for gender equality, exploring how the transformative potential of education cuts across each and every one of them.
 
Running from the 12th-16th October, the Educate for Equality: UNGEI@20 Forum will comprise a series of curated ‘documentary-like’ sessions led by UNGEI partners, followed by intergenerational ‘real talks’ led by activists, experts and influencers to unpack the issues raised and advocate for specific actions to drive progress for gender equality in and through education.
