The Digital Citizenship website contains more than just lesson plans and parent tip sheets, it is a continuous work in progress. This website serves as an up to date and relevant source of inspiration and guidance for teachers, parents and students as they incorporate technology into their teaching and learning as well as their daily lives. It started with the Information Literacy Project as a component of PALE (Plan d’action sur la lecture à l’école) with the development of The Inquiry Process Model. Soon after, the English community expressed a need to address not only how to deal with information, but also all of the components that going online entails. The Digital Citizenship Initiative was created to respond to that need. Then lastly, Learn and Lead, our online learning digital badge site was added to support parents and educators with all the digital citizenship themes.

Headquartered in Costa Rica, the United Nations-mandated University for Peace was established in December 1980 as a Treaty Organization by the UN General Assembly. Inspired by the concept of a Global Citizen, NUSSU GRU will be holding the second iteration of our 7-day conference with the theme of Global Progression. By bringing together students from all over the world and various stakeholders - non-governmental organisations (NGOs), social entrepreneurs, specialists, and academic speakers - to discuss globally relevant socio-economic issues, we hope to bring about greater understanding, awareness, and to inspire change towards progress for all.

GCED Online Campus is an e-learning platform on Global Citizenship Education by APCEIU. The platform provides GCED online courses for educators, special lecture series, case videos of GCED initiatives, and GCED-related teaching & learning materials. All courses and contents are free and accessible to every educator who is interested in GCED.
