The work of the Samarkand Forum on Human Rights is aimed towards identifying the main ways to implement and improve work within the field of ensuring the rights of youth.

The Forum’s integral approach is to gather both representatives of all three branches of power, civil society and national human rights institutions (NHRIs) in order to reiterate states’ commitment to the core principles of human rights, in particular, to the principle of universality. 

The Government of Uzbekistan – as the convener of the Forum – would like to offer a platform for the participants to reaffirm their commitment to ensure human rights for all.

The National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has the honor to invite you to participate in the Samarkand Human Rights Forum, which will be held online on August 12-13, 2020 in Samarkand.
