[Call for Application] 9th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED

- Empowering Educators for a Culture of Peace through GCED

Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) invites educators worldwide to join the 9th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED, themed “Empowering Educators for a Culture of Peace through GCED.” Scheduled online from 18th to 26th July 2024 (KST), this workshop aims to enhance the capacity-building of educators, teacher educators in particular, to implement Global Citizenship Education (GCED), exploring how GCED plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of peace.

Recognizing the pivotal role of teachers in promoting GCED values within educational environments, APCEIU is dedicated to continuously enhancing the capacities of teacher educators from different regions of the world to cultivate global citizenship through the 9th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED. Through lectures, discussions, and interactive collaborative activities, the workshop is designed to provide educators with opportunities to deepen their understanding of GCED in light of various relevant issue areas, share their experiences, and renew their commitments as agents of change.

*Eligibility: Educators from Official Development Assistance (ODA) recipient countries with a minimum of 3 years of career experience (Please refer to the Annex at the end of the concept note to check if your country is among them.)

*This Workshop does not require any participation fee as it will be held exclusively for selected candidates.
