UNESCO and UNFPA will host a 3-day International Virtual Symposium on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). The event’s goal is to present the latest evidence, promote dialogue and identify directions for advancing effective and evidence-based approaches to education for health, well-being, and positive values on sexuality.
The Virtual Symposium is a part of the Global Partnership Forum on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), co-convened by UNESCO and UNFPA. This initiative aims to consolidate knowledge management and share strategic information, good practice, and research to inform stronger programming on CSE.
The Symposium will bring together up to 500 young people, education professionals, academic experts, donors, adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) practitioners and advocates, government representatives, religious and traditional leaders, artists, and activists, alongside other stakeholders.
