eTwinning Spring Campaign 2021 is here!

How to be smart online? The Spring Campaign is here to answer the question with all the eTwinners!

As a part of the Campaign activity, a Webinar on media literacy will be hosted on Monday 22 March at 17:00h CET.

The webinar will be opened by Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, followed by a presentation by Juliane von Reppert-Bismarck from Lie Detectors.

This webinar will demonstrate how to place disinformation and media literacy in the context of the COVIS-19 pandemic. The questions addressed include:

  • What is the problem;
  • what developments are underway in public policy;
  • what developments are occurring in classrooms.

The webinar will also cover the challenges and opportunities teachers face in boosting critical media literacy, and how can they overcome these

During the webinar the participants will also get to know how to integrate media literacy into teaching routines, how to avoid pitfalls, and how to speak about conspiracy theories.

What would you like to ask during the webinar? Post your questions on this IdeaBoard!

This webinar is available for anyone to join. No registrations needed.
