University College London (UCL) has recently launched a new Massive Online Open course (MOOC) on global citizenship education and global education. This short online course for teachers available for free through Futurelearn is now open for enrolments to teachers from around the world. The course provides teachers with an introduction to global education and global citizenship education and practical support on how to introduce global issues into teaching.  It hopes to develop teachers’ confidence, knowledge and skills to include global education in teaching practice. This course is developed in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4.7, which requires countries to develop global citizenship for all learners by 2030.
