UNESCO, in partnership with IPS Academy – Citizens’ Platform, organizes a series of webinars on false information about climate change with the aim to examine available measures from both demand and supply sides of information, and to initiate multi-stakeholder and technology assisted solutions in this domain.

This series of webinars will explore false information about climate change and analyze the implications/lessons of the COVID-19. It will further discuss the possible responses that can be used to tackle the phenomena. The aim is to create a global narrative on the issues, which will allow any confusion or misunderstanding around the topic to be clarified by scientists, academics, journalists, content creators and experts from various stakeholder groups. The webinars will also illustrate the best practices and existing solutions that can tackle informational issues surrounding climate change.
